Montauk Lighthouse Museum at Montauk State Park
run by the Montauk Historical Society. The museum features the history of the lighthouse and an interactive diorama and offers guided tours. Golf - Montauk Downs State Park, designed by Robert Trent Jones, has an 18 hole golf course, rated as one of the top fifty public courses in the country. Open to the public for a $30 fee on weekdays, $36 on weekends all year. Tee times change during the year. There is a driving range, putting green, a pro shop which offers lessons and clinics for adults and kids.
